Rayong Trip

Every Thai house has a traditional spirit house. I found this special and appropriate technology spirit house in a fishery village. A Zinc box, which used to be the packgage of gasoline, was invented to be the spirit house. The inventor re-arranged the important elements of the traditional spirit houses, like the windows.

A barber shop behind Rayong Bus Terminal reminded me the old life style. When I was young, women were not allowed to be barbers because Thai's culture prohibited women touching men's head. But, currently, it is very difficult of find the old style barber shops with male barbers and la-z boy-like barber chairs.

In Rayong, a lot of students travel by regional or provincial buses from their homes to Rayong Bus Terminal. Then they change to mini bus and ride to school. This picture was taken at the mini bus station at the Rayong Bus Terminal. You can see the students took a very high risk for fatal accident.

I joined Dr.Noppanant and Dr.Apiwat on NESDC Project Survey. I found these drinking bottle with very toxicate color at Foodcourt of Rayong Provincial Office.
